I haven't done a full 5k run in some time and going back and running on the hills, I'm impressed that Crossfit has kept me in enough shape that I don't die by the top of the hill.

24:30 for the run, with hills, is ridiculously impressive. i haven't been able to run an 8min mile since HS. the last time i "ran" the 5k it took me ~35mins, sigh.
btw i picked up a pair of the vibram five fingers KSO today. apparently they're immensely popular cuz a lot of places are out of stock (plus i have girl feet). anyways upon first impression my feet let out a william wallace FREEEEEDOM scream. nice. looking forward to running in them.

i got the all black with yellow lettering. actually it was the only one i could find, but it was my first choice anyways. i want to be inconspicuous but u're right about the weird looks. except i can't squat 275 so i imagine all the meatheads pointing and laughing at me.
