Overhead Squat

The Overhead Squat is an exercise that requires the athlete to hold a barbell overhead while squatting through a full range of motion. In order to accomplish this, the athlete must stabilize the torso and shoulder complex to keep the bar in a static position overhead. The ability to properly stabilize the torso is imperative while engaging in athletics. Therefore, the Overhead Squat can be an effective tool for enhancing one's athletic performance.
